Starting off as three best friends that wanted to make films together, Housemate Productions have now embarked on their first adventure, with plans to share many, many more.
Director
Molly Jones
Our East London Legend, Molly, has worked in Film & TV for a number of years, and regularly works as an AD for productions. In between writing our upcoming projects, Molly finds time to work on shows such as Top Boy, The Crown, Call the Midwife and Whitstable Pearl.
Her previous short 'We Should do this Again Sometime' debuted at Act One Cinema in 2023, and she is looking forward to sharing her self-penned project 'Squeeze' with you this Autumn.
Producer
Chloe Cooper
Shwmae! Welsh icon, Chloe, joins the team as a Producer, bringing a wealth of experience in Safeguarding & Inclusion work to Housemate Productions.
Having trained and worked as an actor, Chloe's passion for storytelling recently moved into writing, sharing early stages of 'Grief Encounters' at the Pleasance & Golden Goose Theatre, which Chloe is now adapting into a short film.
Producer
Emily Cundick
Our admin queen, Emily, takes on the role of Producer, and will normally be found tapping away on her laptop. Someone's got to do it!
Earlier this year, you could find Emily swapping her producer cap for the stage, appearing in the RSC's production of 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' at the Barbican.
Emily's comedy short script 'Tipping Point' recently reached the final of Slick Films First Time Filmmaker Fund, and she is looking forward to developing this project further.
